Very good and very unusual: most nature shots look as though they were taken by an invisible observer, which is a bit of a fiction. This one has the feeling of an encounter. I really like the blurry foreground reeds - they make me feel like I'm there.

@Damon Schreiber: THANK YOU, that is an intresting comment, I think I will revisit the image with that thought in mind.
I am revising his name after a review of the field guide I now believe he is an immature Tricolor Egret rather than a blue.
